I'd prefer to have both male and female characters. I mean what's the harm?

However don't force me to play as a female, I always pick males when I can in video games that allow you to pick. Don't force a class to be male or female only. Give options.

I usually switch up myself. Sometimes i play as a male, other times as a female.

It's multi-player, there is no plot, so it isn't making an attempt at being historically accurate. They could allow us to play as gay, transgendered, unicorn for all I care.

It's unrealistic to the point of feeling like changing history, so I don't like it. I understand the decision but I just don't like it personally.

Right, because so much about CoD is realistic to start with.

Most of the stuff CoD pulls off doesn't feel like it's rewriting history. Please read more carefully in the future.

I think it's kind of arrogant to call a game, "Call of Duty: WWII" and then completely ignore the Pacific Theater.

Oh? This is about the women thing? Yeah. A big who cares? Video games are unrealistic. That's part of what makes them good.

You're being serious?   You're worried about rewriting history in multiplayer?

Well, multiplayer probably isn't that much more inaccurate historically than single-player, so female soldiers do stand out quite a bit. Obviously it doesn't stand out as much as it would in single-player, but it does still stand out more than I like.

But, you do realize that certain militaries had women in them, right? There were also guerrilla fighters that were women.

I can understand how people who are really into military history wouldn't like it. I have a friend who would always get annoyed about inconsistencies in games.

That was his perspective and he is as entitled to feel that way as a female is for not feeling included.

Personally, I don't care. I've been killing female enemies in other games for years. It's a non-issue to me either way.

Yeah maybe, but these people probably aren't looking to to Call of Duty to satiete that desire to immerse themselves in military history right?

If someone is really into military history, they'll probably recognize CoD as kind of a farce anyway.

Children should be playable as well.

Well, there were almost surely child soldiers in WWII, so that'd make sense too.
