Hmm, I was under the impression that cheating isn't enough, he must also know of the situation and still tolerate it. Some people even enjoy that stuff.

Well, according to the etymology it comes from the idea of a betrayed husband. I think that in recent times it has been mainly referred to by its fetish, which would obviously have to require knowledge and toleration.

I'd say the bigger question is, did Trump actually say that. Usually, when you do name: statement, it's referring to a quote.
