And people wonder why Nintendo doesn't want any kind of communication with random people.

They are trying to protect us from the internet!!!!!!

On other side, this is normal, without any kind of good mod control this is going to keep happening... a lot of people feel a rush of courage when they know they are "anonymous"

And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... Yes, because only 1.3 million 360 owners play CoD4 online, and only 850,000 play Halo 3 online.

EVERY DAY.

Have fun entering in your Wii codes...

Also:

"Among those who use a video game system for online gaming, Xbox 360 (50%), PlayStation 2 (22%) and Nintendo Wii (18%) are the top three systems used, with Xbox360 continuing to command a dominant lead."

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

This is why I like friend codes.

You don't need special 12 digit friend codes to just play with friends online do you?

Honestly, this is one the main things attracting me to upgrading my account to Gold. I love having debates, especially when the people don't know anything about the country their bashing and the best insult they can come up with is something to do with tea, crumpets, or the combination of the two.

A lesson for Americans: Tea and crumpets are not a single entity.

360 has been out a little over twice as long... and it has a little over double Wii's people playing online.

Sure the Wii has more users, but it has less games that actually have online features... and no huge FPS.

FPS being the mainstray of online.

Or at least I assume they are.

The only games I can see people playing online on Wii are Brawl and Medal of Honour heroes... which sold poorly.

Maybe Strikers... or Madden? Could Wii Madden even play online?

I find it a miracle it's as high as it is.

well that's why I joined a clan with people over 25 mostly, selected for their behavior and not their skills.... to have fun together playing other clans with the same objective....

by best answer to those kids is just not answering

I don't know about the 360 version, but I'm sure "Vista" and "Games for Windows Live" are two other reasons for low sales.

Heh, that reminds me of when I was playing Counter-Strike and doing well so the people on the opposing team started preaching about how much they hate me as well as Americans.

This Half-Life 2 web comic is a humurous representation of people online (and a lot of great Half-Life 2 humor as well!).
