Wow. I have over 4000 posts since December of 2006 and I think that is maybe the 2nd or 3rd time I have ever been accused of being a fanboy. 

 You are denying that the PS3 and 360  have exclusives that aren't available on PC.  To me that is blind fanboyism.

he openly admitted they have exclusives, just nothing that warranted purchasing a whole system for. jeese

But I agree with you, Wii + PC is the best combo for me this gen, most of the PS3 exclusive doesn't make me feel excited, the 360 has some good games, but the ones I wanted are now in PC... and I'm still waiting for SC2, Empires Total War and King's Story, so I will be fine this gen...

 what future???? if it's game quality, there is no insight for now that devs are willing to spend the time and money on making games that really uses what the PS 3 has to offer.... BR ok that format is still far from taking over DVD.... and by the time it does if it does.... you'll have other better quality stand alone players for way cheaper as it is the case already now on ebay anyway... and on top of that the genration will probably be over.... your way of thinking is true when it comes to built a PC.... I don't see it when it comes to buy a console... you buy a console for the games it has to offer now and the near future plus now the services it has to offer.. if you look at that... beside a couple games that appeal to some people PS 3 has not much more to offer than 360 that justify the investement....

You are right aboput the devs being able to learn or not learn how to use the PS3 to its fullest power. But that is a discussion for another day. One which I think we may agree upon..

You are right, as of now the PS3 and 360 are comparable in terms of games.

But the PS3 and Blu-Ray is an advantage IMO. the ability of software updates and Blu-Ray profile 2.0 still places the quality of the blu-ray player at the head of the pack, and for a great price when compared to other similar featured BD players.

Yes eventually there will be better BD players out there, for cheaper, but there arent now.

But we both have our opinions, I respect yours.

I'm loath to get into a PS3 exclusive argument in this thread, but you must realize that the whole "Sony domination in 2008" argument was based largely on the understanding that GT and FF would make it into this year, something that is now highly unlikely to happen.

Indeed, whilst MGS4 will no doubt be an excellent system-seller, at the end of the year, Microsoft will actually have more big name sequels in Fable 2 and Banjo Kazooie than Sony will.  Not to mention Ninja Gaiden 2 and Gears of War 2.  Sony has Resistence 2 (which will probably be excellent, but its fanbase already owns the PS3, because thats where the first game was) and Killzone 2, which frankly is the sequel to a bad game, and has shown no indication of being great at anything other than games.
