@OP- that's a lesson that most men should just know, kind of like instinct.

I don't know why most women seem to respond with such irrational attitudes with these types of things. Maybe one of the female members could comment and attempt to give the straightforward thinking men a clue.

The only way you're ever allowed to get a woman an exercise related gift is if she is involved in it already, I thought that would be common knowledge... For example, if your woman does Yoga, a new yoga DVD or yoga mat is okay.

The time that I was confused was when my girlfriend didn't like me going running because it made her think I thought she was fat, and my exercising was a hidden way to tell her to lose some weight. That made me question her sanity...

Please, PLEASE do NOT feed the trolls.

1) WiiFit will outsell the pokemans.

I buy my GF loads of games, granted she never plays them for more than 5mins as she doesnt enjoy them (Harvest Moon is an exception and she cant wait for Kings Tale), but after she is done i get to enjoy the games, just after she gets off Harvest Moon.

@ mrjuju: This actually already exists with some brands. They put up sizes lower than what it really is to make women feel good about themselves so they would buy their clothes more. -_-'

@ largedarryl: I'm female but I can't explain why some girls react that way. It's weird and it doesn't make sence.

@ alpha_dk: It does sound like insanity. O_o'

You can get this for your girlfriend as long as you do it tactfully.

Possible lines to use to disarm the situation:
"Hey babe, I just bought We Ski, let's play!" (Then casually leave the Wii + WiiFit + WiiFit software over at her place that night/weekend).
"I just bought this WiiFit, but I'm bored with it. Do you do yoga?"

If she senses what's going on, get indignant and tell her that you think she looks beautiful and you can't believe she thinks you would stoop that low. (Then take the WiiFit back to your place and wait for the apology call.)

Would a man be upset if his gf bought him wii-fit? I think not.

yeah, she said i tought she was fat.

Pfft, I openly tell my girlfriend that she is fat

I'd really want to buy this from here. She loves Pepsi and is too lazy to workout on her own.

I already told my fiancee I'm getting Wii Fit for both of us. I'll see what happens in May.

I have had a change of heart on this topic after some consideration.

It would be like if your gf bought you a penis enlargement device.

Girls are just as sensitive about their weight as guys are about their penis size.
