Forums - Gaming - Your first time with Nintendo

As far as I can remember, my first Nintendo console was a SNES and the first video game I have ever played was Super Mario World.

I Hate REMASTERS

I Hate PLAYSTATION PLUS

For me that was the NES 1989. I think I just turned 8 or something.

The strangest shit happened. I got a NES from te states with like 10 games. Plugged it in and blew out the power plug cause where i was at the time used 240v and the states used 110v. I was 8... I was totally clueless.

My cool parents then got me a NES from the UK. But that couldn't play my games because of region locking. I think i almost died. Then my super cool parents got me 10 other games from the UK. Then someone gooked me up with another PCU for the NES and a step down transformer.

And there i was in gaming nirvana with two NES consoles and 20 games.I basically had all the best games there were to have. From double dragon(s), to ninja gaiden to metal gear(s).

Then in 1991 or so I got the super nintendo with contra 3. sigh.... I had a great childhood.

When I was really small, I was able to play SMB on the NES

Remembered trying to not die in World 1-2 so I could walk along the top, but always got hurt by the first Goomba :p

Uh...probably when I was around 3 or 4, I played Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES. That's my earliest encounter with Nintendo. It wasn't my game or Snes, though, my cousins had it. My first Nintendo device was a Gameboy Color with Zelda: Link's Awakening. That's when I really understood how special and magical Nintendo was. They really shaped my childhood.

Not much to tell, some G&W in the early 80's. Can't remember which.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

SNES with Yoshi's Island. Great memories.

Hmm, I was quite young when I first played on Nintendo, so that is kinda blurry. The console I got came with Mario Bros 3, so I'm certain that's one of my 1st games to play. Strangely though, I knew about the secrets in that game, despite not remembering where I learned them.

What I do remember very well is playing Lolo. The medusa heads scared me so bad, it kind of scarred me. I can't play Lolo without getting the shivers, haha.

I'm curious, will you be doing one for Playstation, Xbox and PC? Those would be interesting stories to hear as well.
