Early emulators always suck, they demand very powerful hardware to give you a disappointing experience, they usually need years to polish, but they are always a great excuse for haters and trolls though "I'll play it on Cemu lol", even if we know not even a 5% of people that says that will actually do it.

The mod scene for Zelda may be interesting though, I may take a look to that once the emulation is actually good some years in the future, and I don't meant good as in moving fine for 20 seconds in a youtube video, I mean being able to play for hours without problems, which is always another story.

I highly doubt you'll need to wait that long. It'll probably be a while before CEMU as a whole is a fully functional WiiU emulator, but Zelda itself is being given a lot of attention right now. In just a few weeks they've gotten it from being just a menu, to playable at 10 - 20fps with most features now added. It shouldn't take them too long to finish a stable build.

It might have a few extra unexpected bugs here and there, but in exchange anyone with a decent PC could play BotW without having to deal with the WiiU or Switch's performance profiles. As long as they're using a legal copy, i see no problem with some wanting a potentially better experience.

That master race will get a BoTW with great mods to play in the future. Mods, one of the reasons many of the master race love to use their PC for. 

Lol at the people who think its gonna take a year to get it running at 30 fps. It took them less than a month to get it to run from nothing to 20 fps and that is at 4k instead of just 720p. It will take them at most a month to get it running at 30 fps and as an owner of both zelda and switch, I am gonna enjoy every bit of it at 4k.

Of course, problem is most of the time that isn't the case.

Bought the game for my wii u and own a wii u so feel its fair to play the game emulated. By selling such under-powered hardware Nintendo have made themselves vulnerable to emulation at an early stage. No doubt a Switch emulator will be out even sooner than it took the wii u. In fact I think its likely there will be a full speed high compatibility emulator while the Switch is at its height of sales.

Exactly, it's practically a shield and it has already been hacked. Can't imagine emulating will be hard at all

Mods? You mean CHEATS. I get it, the game is too hard so you have to cheat your way through.

BoTW is perfection so modding it would be like changing the Mona Lisa's smile only worse.

(jk, is CEMU just WiiU or does it do Wii as well?)
