lol the main message that sjws push is that all of the problems in the world stem from white male people... even i as a black man can understand that this is a racist pov

By all means, let's be incredibly reductive about it.

reductive? i could talk at length on their arguments and how ridiculously nonsensical the vast majority of them are

do you know why? its because the underlying foundation - utopianism is inherently flawed and cannot be fulfilled unless everyone is put in chains ( which is why the ideology called communism was formed to begin with but that's a long long discussion in itself )

the whole white straight male thing is a scapegoat to cause division to further the agenda... all it ever has been

What is a sjw ?

its interesting that i was not the person that used the term but responded to someone using it and you ask me to define it... why didn't you just ask the person i'm responding to?

And I could talk at lenght about how a "majority" of backlash against PC Culture is people whining that they can say and do whatever they want and then also be treated the way that they want to be treated.

I'm a white guy. It'd be easy for me to reduce the complaitns of "SJWs" down to the point at which they're not worth addressing. Really easy actually. I think it's important to try to understand where it's all coming from though.

Even if some loud people occasionally shout some rhetoric that I don't agree with. Even if I think some websites pile on in order to signal how virtous they are.

I think the above are crummy things to do.  But I don't want legitimate greivences to go unheard because of it.

"a "majority" of backlash against PC Culture is people whining that they can say and do whatever they want and then also be treated the way that they want to be treated. "

whoever does that is a hypocrite and i would not support them

" I think it's important to try to understand where it's all coming from though."

absolutely... which is why i did the research and understand where its coming from for the most part... all the way back to philosophers like plato who argued that the community is more important than the individual

" I don't want legitimate greivences to go unheard because of it. "

absolutely, i agree, but what is legitimate and what is not legitimate is subjective is it not? To be absolutely honest i hardly ever see what i would consider to be legitimate greivances from these people

Cause i want to see your opinion.

people who have a utopian agenda pretty much, who think that freedom needs to be stripped away from individuals and systems need to be put into place until eventually "equality" is achieved... which is never going to happen because the truth is that people are not equal and will never be equal

I see why it might appear that way. Because loud people with large megaphones have something to gain from appearing virtuous and it's rather easy to "take a stand" on issues when taking a stand means badmouthing a colleague that you probably already didn't like.

If you want to dismiss polygon and all the other dog-pilers, I can endorse that. I do believe though, that at the heart of this issue in particular, there are women who are simply tired of being a joke and don't want to hear it. I think the source of their fatigue is rooted in legitimate complaints.

is offense by itself then a legitimate reason to censor someone?

what happens then when you are the person who falls outside of what is considered acceptible? as the range for what is acceptible narrows further and further?

or do you think you'll always be able to toe the line?

from my pov a more sensible solution is to have people study why they are offended by things to begin with...

one thing i will say is that "offense" is the perfect tool to divide people into groups and pit those groups against each other all while they are completely oblivious to the puppet masters who disseminate the ideas that motivate them to begin with

and i'm not talking about polygon or whoever i'm looking directly at the ideology itself and i'm saying that from its very foundation it is fundamentally flawed and anyone can do that if they just sit for a minute and think about it

No one was censored. This is a non-starter.

the intent is to censor people yes or to make sure that no one expresses ideas outside of a certain set of ideas... if that isn't the intent then why is there such a response when certain ideas or expressed? or certain jokes or made?

Pretty much finished at this point, Colin was KindaFunny it seems. He took his fans with him.
