Forums - Gaming - Former Bioware Dev on what has gone wrong at Bioware.

Really can't trust that post as of yet, even if it turns out to be true. It's far too easy to fake that sort of thing.

It's not like they turned out a piece of shit of a game... it's just not amazing yet. People really like to dredge up whatever drama they can.

And what does Twitter have to do with a game's development, a game where he was a gameplay designer among hundreds of people working on a game, have to do with what you were saying earlier?

Yeah we get it, the guy was a prick. Doesn't mean we have to take his personal views and apply them to the entire team or areas where he probably didn't even have that much influence.

So you're asking me what does the director of the studio of the video game in question who agrees with a racist gameplay designer and support his public views has to do with the game in question?

He's been sacked .

He was not sacked. He was a contract employee and his contract is over as the game shipped. I'm sure he'll be back on their next game.

We'll have to wait and see the comunity manager semed to imply that they got rid of him but in all honesty they won't come out and say that most probably something along the lines of if you leave with out a fuss you get to keep a clean employment sheet and what ever bonus the game delivers and we get rid of a problem.
