Forums - Gaming - Anyone with EA Access going to play Mass Effect:Andromeda early this week?

I have EA Access. I want ME for Xbox One but I'm sure it'll be better on PS4. I'm really torn. I have the rest on Xbox. Then again, I have a $15 credit on PSN.

And even worse, all I want to play is Zelda.

EA and Microsoft have always been strong parners, nothing is official but you can pretty much bet scorpio support will happen and the next installment should be great on Xbox, if you have EA Access the digital version is cheaper and available earlier, should be the version to grab.

If you are going physical I guess you are right and PS4 should be the better version for now.

Ha, I have the same problems.  All of my gaming friends are on XB1.  But, I have a PS4 Pro.  What's the sense of having a pro if I'm gonna play multi-plats on XB?

And, Zelda....  seems unlikely that I'll be done with it next week.

if you end up buying a scorpio, multiplats are gonna be on xbox anyway, else it depends if you want to multiplayer or play early xbox is the way, espcially since your friends are also on it.

The PS4 Pro version will be better graphically and possibly performance wise but don't think your wasting the console since all the exclusives will also use the pro's power and most likely the exclusives will be the thing that really makes the hardware shine :)

You summed up my life.

In the end I have gone for Xbox One to continue the experience on that family of consoles, and to get it early.

Realistically, all that will seperate them is a marginal resolution difference. Dragon Age: Inquisition was fine on Xbox One.

I didn't think of that, but its a good point - if you wind up getting a Scorpio that'll be the version to play (short of a very high end PC).

I plan on getting the Scorpio but, by the time it comes out, I'll probably be long done with Mass Effect. Still something to consider, though.

Pretty much. I have a high end PC so that's the route I'm going. Not doing EA access though I think that's stupid. Plus I took off the 21st till Monday so I'll have plenty of time to beat it. Planned on getting my Next after that but been watching some financial advice videos and I think I got some shit to work on.

Reports some people can download it - I checked an hour ago and couldnt!

Got work now, going to be a long day!

Apparently I have a bit of credit on both PS4 and XB1. With EA Access, it'll be about $45 no matter which way I go. I'll decide in the morning. I don't even know which of the three versions to get, much less which console.

Life used to be so easy.
