I stand corrected. I can´t even defeat Mia with her chainsaw in Madhouse. Really really hard. I am giving up I think =(

Mia was the toughest part for me.  You don't have anything and have to be perfect with your ammo usage there.  Jack follows you around the house when finding the dog heads in Madhouse just so you know.

What a nightmare =(

Really?Thats was the worst part of the game for me.I mean, I can see the appeal for a first playthrough, and since these "immortal enemy" sessions are reallz limited, they didnt bother me that much, but for other playthroughts, they are horrible. It is simply a pain in the ass.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I guess, as a buddy told me before here, it is a matter of taking a breather, a few days to rest between each playthrough.

Oh no, you got me wrong. Its not because Im afaraid that I dont like it, its just annoying. For a new game + playthrough, I dont want to be walking slowly through the halls or keep worrying about that damn enemy that just wont die and need to keep running from him and find the key so he can leave me alone. It loses the charm because I already know what happens in the story, already know the layout of the building(even if the items are placed in different places for Madhouse).I just want to enjoy the gameplay, and an enemy that dosent die dosent let me do that.

In the normal and easy you can just dodge Jack, dunno how it is in madhouse. Catherine I just unloaded everything on her and moved on. Got even a trophy by doing that. Mia just appear 3 times, in a story heavy sequence, as I remember.

I doubt I can do anything in madhouse, as even defeating Mia looks impossible to me =(

Its still annozing for me in the second run to be constantly under pursuit(with exception when you can actually kill Jack and the others).

You need about 20 headshots to defeat Mia on madhouse. Depending on what you unlocked already the rest can very hard too. My first madhouse run ended up at over 13 hours, not counting the reloads to previous saves. It was closer to 18 hours all together.

I did 5 playthroughs in total all in VR, first on normal, then madhouse, then 2 on easy for the speedrun and collect em all trophies, then 1 more on madhouse to collect the coins there. My second madhouse run was just over 6 hours with all the bonusses unlocked. Most fun platinum to get yet.
Actually my easy run got pretty hard too as I screwed up the open storage box only 3 times requirement. I could not retrieve my weapons after the ship part so had to make it all the way through the mines with only a couple of trip wires lol. Luckily the game over screen at the end boss allows you to change equipment which doesn't count as opening the storage box.

Afterwards I played the DLC, bedroom and escape the basement for 52 hours total playtime on RE7. Great game, amazing VR experience.

Yeah. The saddest part to me is the deputy. He was a nice guy, even gave me his pocket knife =(

You can turn Jack off on madhouse. Buy the crow key for 3 coins, go in the basement and trigger his cutscene down there. Then he'll stay there waiting for you. Ofcourse making it there is not all that easy.
