What video game do you think will win the game of the year 2017?

The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild 176 79.64%

Mass Effect Andromeda 4 1.81%

Red Dead Redemption 2 34 15.38%

Super Mario Odyssey 4 1.81%

Resident Evil 7 3 1.36%

Total:221

I think than the GOTY contenders will be Mass Effect Andromeda, Super Mario Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild and Resident Evil 7

The timing of release tells me Red Dead Redemption 2 will win (assuming it's as good as the first one).

Safe to say at this point that Zelda will be one of the contenders. If not THE contender.. 98 metacritic is insane.

Other suspects would be the ones you mentioned in , Mass Effect, Super Mario Odyssey and Red Dead Redemtpion 2.

I cant really see anyone else taking up that fight.

I am thinking between

BoTW
ME:A
RDR:2

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Red Dead Redemption 2 will get the GOTY

Around the Network

I think RDR2 will win tbh.

I'll be very happy if BOTW or Persona 5 wins.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I honestly dont think anything will be able to beat Zelda.Maybe Mario, but even then I dont have much faith.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

For whom? Nintendo Life Magazine? Playstation Journal and Post? Cabbage Weekly?

I think Zelda will just inch out ahead of red dead and take it.

I think from VGA.Its still kind of in its infancy, but I personally consider it to be the defining game of the year award, since its the one that has critics from all major sites giving its thumbs up or down.
