Rhythm heaven is what the title implies- a rhythm game. However, it is very popular for giving off a Wario ware vibe and being accessible to anyone (even blind people can play it).
The more I think about it, the more I realize how good this could've been to show off the switch. You usually only need two buttons, which would make the controls good enough. With two joycons, they can put a good emphasis on two player mode and multiplayer.
The game is also casual enough to have both hardcore and casuals enjoy the game. HD rumble could've been incorporated creatively- you're doing a Clock minigame? You'll feel the ticking of the clock as its going. You're playing a rocket minigame? You can feel it blast off.
1-2 switch (unfortunately) has nothing against rhythm heaven- rhythm heaven would at least be able to justify a price tag.
