Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo stock management

Sold out here in Los Angeles, I was 2 people away from getting one at Toys R Us earlier. Had I left the house 10 mins earlier I would've gotten one. Fry's opened the store sold out, Game Stop only had two.

Toys R Us said they're not getting another shipment until 3/19. Is this the same for all retailers??

I'm in Australia as well and like you noticed lots of stock but it's the standard grey , you have to preorder if you want neon colours.

I had a couple of friends buy the Neon online this morning from Big W, apparently they still had Neon stock (at least they did this morning).

I , was basing my observation on EB stores , most likely to do with everyone pre ordering the neon switches, I picked up a grey unit and next day picked up a neon set of joycons $119.95 plus S39 .95carry case and screen potectors traded old games for them otherwise I would have bothered. I have found quite often that chain stores have game gear in stock when it's sold out at places like Eb and JB probably to do with them not being a lot of peoples first place to look for consoles.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

lots of places solt out switches, and other places still theres still lots on stock.
It seems that the distribution was not optimum...
well, next weeks theyll manage to deliver more for places where it is sold out and less where is still stock.

First week sales will be interesting.

Interestingly enough, while you can get the Switch on Amazon.de, Zelda for Switch is sold out.
