I don't think there's any question it'll sell best on Wii.  Any game with Sonic in it has sold well on Wii so far, including the mediocore Sonic:SR, Sonic Riders and Sega Tennis (which totally bombed on PS360).    This game (if it's as good as we hope) will go multi-platinum on Wii.

Edit: Now that I think about it, Sonic practically has as much exposure on Wii as Mario himself.  He's in at least 5 games including the massive SSBB and Mario & Sonic Olympics.  Is there any Sonic fans left that don't own a Wii?

This game is going to sell like hotcakes in Europe, at least for the Wii it will.

That's why a lot of Wii owners were going crazy when they didn't think it was for the Wii. It's kinda stupid not to sell your next Sonic game on arguably, Sonic's most successful platform. There is a huge fanbase for him in Europe, and all the pretty graphics in the world aren't gonna change that.

That said, I hear a lot of gruff about "oh it's just a PS2 port" did you ever think the Wii might not even get these games if it wasn't for the PS2, also, what is so bad about that? Why do games have to impliment next gen technology to be good?

What about Disgaea 3 for the PS3? Couldn't it be done on the PS1 and be just as good? It's for all measures, a PS2 port, and its one of my most anticipated games.

It's fine to anticipate a game because of its graphics, but in turn, it's just silly to denegrate a game because of them, or lack of motion controls, or whatever little silly nonfoible, fanboy talking point you wanna bring up next. 

Why are we buying next-generation consoles if they're not giving us next-generation quality? I did not buy the Wii or PS3 or whatever to play games that can easily be done on the PS2 or GameCube. I want something that puts the last set of consoles to shame! Why not just play PS2 for the next 10 year, then? These new consoles are supposed to raise the standards in gaming just like every other generation did, and that's what I expect. 

If you want next-generation quality, buy a PC...

So, I was right after all when I thought this was coming to Wii? I'm not surprised. Looks interesting after all.

Sonic sells well on the Wii, there has been nothing in the past to even tell me that it will sell at all on the PS3 and definitly not the 360( unless it is a Sonic FPS)

Wii version will outsell all others combined, 2nd best selling version will be PS2, then PS3, the 360.

Maybe SEGA should start developing exclusively on the Wii or at least having all Sonic games exclusively on the Wii. Not to enfuriate PS3 or Xbox owners but more for a economic gain. How much money they spent on the HD consoles versions and how much return they had? Well, maybe Sonic Unleashed will proved contrary but not likely. Just my opinion.
