Is midnight launch for 24/7 walmarts only?

The last time I was at a Walmart midnight launch people just kind of made a line at the electronics counter. I think it was for Black Ops 2, and I didn't even know it was releasing until I saw people standing around. I was just there to buy some food or something.

Ah ok, I'm picking a Walmart in a rather unsafe area of town as I'm hoping most will go to the better ones haha

If I don't return, I died doing what I love... waiting in line for video games.

I laughed out loud at that

Those qty numbers include the preordered units?

The folks on reddit state this is after preorders, I.e. available stock.

How early should I get there, do you think?

I'm going to head over around 8 and play on my phone. :)

There are about 10 people here in line. Looking good!

How are you guys faring?

superchunk, no need to tell the world...

...Should have just told me :P

This is awesome. I preordered mine and I'm working right now but, if there is still stock when I wake up, I may upgrade to special edition.

This is kinda odd, I've been checking brickseek for Walmarts around my area, in San Diego and they have PLENTY of Nintendo Switches in stock. I thought they were going to be sold real quick.

Not sure how accurate this Brickseek is, as it's noting that anyone in Northern Virginia can apparently walk into most Walmarts and buy a Switch right now if you want one. Only the one at Fairlakes is showing 0 quantity.  The Neon version, however, is pretty much cleaned out. The Manassas Walmart, in fact, has -1 Neon Switches :)

Yeah I noticed that too, in my area most Walmarts have a lot in stock and only one store is sold out with -9, weird...
