After thinking whether or not I buy the Switch day one, I've decided to wait. Between the Switch having some major absent features, not wanting to bother with the first month (everything sold out and really expensive)  and me not having time time to play it anyway, I think I can wait a couple of months before I make the jump. I think I'll buy the Switch when it gets a major official bundle (like MK8 or BotW), so I have a game to play from the get go. However, I have no idea when that's going to happen.

When do you think Nintendo will make an official Switch bundle?

Also, it feels weird this will be my last Switch NX thread before its official release. How time flies...

Thinking they may bundle 1-2 Switch late summer, or maybe even do something like when Mario Kart 8 was released and you would get a free download of another game.
If not then it's Black Friday of course.
I'm hoping there will be one before then as I'm getting one at some point but I will wait for a bundle, hoping to get one for $350 CAD with a game included, even if it is 1-2 Switch ( which is the most obvious bundle choice).

I don't think we'll get one from Nintendo themselves for a while. However holiday bundles by retailers where they pack in a game for the same price or knock it down ~$10 is probably going to happen.

1-2-Switch bundle around when they start to charge for online.  I'd argue that Nintendo initially planned on bundling 1-2-Switch but wanted to kick the tires for a while to see if the game could become huge like Wii Sports on its own before doing so.

They could make several bundles if they wanted to for Christmas. A Mario Kart bundle, Mario Odyssey bundle, Zelda bundle, or Splatoon bundle.

I think a Mario Kart or Odyssey bundle for $250-300 would sell.

It depends on sales numbers.

If its like Wii, then we won't see any bundle until stock is stable in retail chain.

If its more similar to a typical product launch, then I'm betting during summer with something like MK8D or Splatoon 2, etc.

Holidays is a safe bet, 1,2 switch should have been bundled at launch tho.

I seriously do not expect 1, 2, Switch to be bundled at all. But I could see Zelda bunldled either later in the Summer, start of Fall, or in the Holidays. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe could also be bundled. Maybe Splatoon 2 in the Holidays.

Not counting limited edition bundles, like a limited edition Super Mario Odyssey

Why is there no Spring option ? I feel like MK8 and ARMS are very likely going to be bundled with the console
