Did you just pull that outta thin air? I posted a pic of the plan for last year. The sony and nintendo lots are pretty much the exact same they were last yera. The only one that is smaller is MS lot. So i really don't know where you are getting what you are saying.

Hell, sony's booth size is even bigger than it was last year.

Microsoft's smaller booth is the only surprising thing, it doesn't make sense with a new machine and all. Maybe they have reserved several of the smaller booths, to make smaller presentations to the press?

This has to be a mistake or something...wow. Did they apply late for floor space? I thought they were supposed to be showing off new hardware?

I guess this means that Scorpio is new hardware but it is still compatible with Xbox One games so maybe they don't think they need much space to show it off. This is boggling to me.

As for Nintendo, possibly they're doing a Mario Odyssey booth like Zelda. But something else is telling me that Nintendo is going to have a lot of surprises at E3. Specifically for 1st party.

The only thing I am seeing is, that Microsoft does not want to be in the same building as Sony and Nintendo. Do you blame them? Better to show off the Scorpio with no other distractions going on. Let Sony and Nintendo fight for peoples attention.

That wouldn't be the problem, the wierd thing is that their booth seems to be only like 50% of the booth they had the years before. Why would you decrease the size of your booth so much if you have as much or more to show as the years before?

We can only hope it won't mean that much.

This probably. They want everyone to pay attention to them. That is why they are going on Sunday.
