You can do this for Sony and Microsoft too:
No The Last Guardian for ps3 despite several announcements for it on the ps3, no external HDD support for ps4 until very recently, no backwards compatibility for ps4 (the company that played its part in pioneering that aspect of gaming now shuns it), no external assets for Bethesda mods on ps4, no free online, no scalebound, no easy refunds for that digital No Man's Sky purchase for ps4 despite the crashing problems the game had (and may still have), no 4k blu-ray playback for ps4 pro, no portability for ps4 and x1, no up-to-date hardware on ps4 pro: the tech inside is old by PC gaming standards, no more support for Vita, no more support for ps3 and 360 despite adoption numbers being greater than ps4 and x1, no way to turn off the light on the back of the dualshock 4.
Going back to points raised, some I agree with. Others, not so much:

3. No good launch lineup for Switch.

Opinion.

Nintendo offers one big game that is available for their last generation console as well.

I'm glad that BotW is also on WiiU. I was very worried that it wouldn't be after years of promoting it on the WiiU.

Would have been a very shitty move if it didn't come to WiiU.

4. No more support for Wii U. After Zelda, I think that is it for big titles. Can you guys name any? I think any big game company like Nintendo, that has billions in the bank, should support their consoles and customers, for at least 5 years. I can understand why Sega abandoned Dreamcast. They were in money trouble. One of Sega's top people had to put his personal funds into Sega to help his company. Nintendo could at least port Super Mario Odyssey to Wii U, since no proper 3D sequel to Super Mario Galaxy was made for Wii U.

And no more support for ps3, Vita, and 360. SMO on WiiU would be stellar though.

8. No more preorders for Switch at many locations. Are they creating more demand like was rumored with the original Wii?

Maybe pre-orders are sold out?

9. No to making enough Nes Minis to meet demand. The same question as in #8.

Did Nintendo announce a stop to production of the Mini? This is news to me!
niceguygameplayer said:
Well, I think that should be enough points to convince anyone but the most diehard Nintendo fans about the greed and disappointment of Nintendo. I could go all the way back to the NES days and point out greedy practices against 3rd parties
|
You could but that would be old news. NES released about 30 years go. Switch-era Nintendo seems to be on good terms with third parties.

as well as other things, but it would take too long for me. The Nintendo seal of quality has indeed been broken, in my opinion. Sony and Microsoft have better in store for your gaming dollars guys. Think about it.

And from what I've been gathering, PC gaming is the best place to play: free online, modding freedom, nearly endless amounts of functionality... CHOICE!

These long replies are rough on me, but here is another reply, even though I probably won't touch on everything you say.
A. I agree that other companies are not doing everything right. I just feel that Nintendo is the worst offender lately.
B. I agree. I think this Zelda should have remained a Wii U exclusive in fact. I think Switch should have waited another year too.
C. PS3 and 360 have earned the right to retire. They are much older than Wii U. I completely agree about Vita. If not for 3rd parties, Vita would be dead now. Sony did very wrong with Vita.
D. I read a rumor that production has ended on NES Mini, but I was talking about keeping up with demand before now, mainly.
E. Nintendo had better be on better terms with 3rd parties or Switch will be another Wii U.
F. Well, I am speaking of console gaming. But the money could be spent better on many things: A computer, rent, phone bill, feeding the poor, a new couch, put it toward college or save it, etc.
Thanks for taking the time for such a long reply!
