I had a huge well-thought out post, already typed in until this website gave me a fatal error and erased quite a few paragraphs.

 Anyways, in June, we have alot of major games coming out.

Where do you think they'll end up @ in Japan? The game's I'm talking about are (as far as I know):

Dragon Quest: Swords

Resident Evil 4 Wiimake

Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Forza 2 (yes, its late may, but still)

Trusty Bell

Foulk Soul

 

Also, Hot Shots Golf for PS3 and RE:UC are on the horizon. Where do you see these games ending up at? Lets try to guess opening weekends and eventual sales numbers.

I'm going with (O/W and then Total):

DQS: 195,000/385,000

RE4Wii: 98,000/185,000

NGS: 65,000/175,000

TB: 71,400/140,500

Forza 2: 55,000/85,000

Folk Soul: 45,000/67,500

How about you?

Your numbers look pretty much like what I was thinking. Maybe a little lower on overall NGS sales and a little higher on Folk Soul overall sales.


I'd also like to think that overall Forza will do better than that but it's far too much of a wildcard at this point to know anything for sure.

I think after the uber-bomb of VF5 and rather poor legs of Gundam Mousou, the PS3 games are a total wildcard. Enchant Arm (abliet it WAS eM) only sold 30k, setting a very low bar. I mean, FS has the possibility of out-doing my Trusty Bell prediction. The FS one is the lowest, simply because I really haven't seen any sort of buzz for the game. I agree - Forza 2 is a wildcard. As is every game stated. Each game could easily get +200k units (even FS) if something crazy was to happen.

DQS---180k-600k ( It launches on 12 of July, btw) RE4----50k-150k NGS----50K-150K ( To current PS3 owners, will not improve hardware) FZ2-----20K-40K TB-----40K-100K FS----40K-100K DK: Barrel Race---30k-150k ( It will probably suck, so very low expectations) BTW, it this list only for consoles? Cuz Loz:Phantom Horuglass launches in Jpn too in June. I would say 300k-800k for it. Hot Shot Golf ( 50k-100k for me) is supposed to release July 26th, maybe it would be a better idea to count both June and July?

I think DQ: S sales will be higher in the end

I hate square they took DQ put it on the Wii and made it into a children's game...... I won't make any predictions except that Foulksoul I predict will sell better than Ninja Gaiden Sigma: the opposite of what you guys are predicting.

Forza and TB would sell more than 50k copies???????????????

Folksoul and NGS would sell less than 50k copies??????????

x360 sells 2k hardwares per week and you are expecting its games to beat NGS and Folksoul???
