I've been waiting for this:

The most graphically impressive console open world game to date.

That was absolutly beautiful. It looks amazing in a compressed youtube video! I am very excited to see what it looks like running directly on my PS4 Pro and Z9D with HDR.

This world just looks incredibly inviting. I think I will be spending a lot of time there. I really like the whole map system with 3D terrain, and the fact that you can completely customize your HUD. Once I get a feel for things, I will definitly be playing HUDless to let myself get as imersed as possible.

The only downfall is no VR. I would love to spend time in this world in VR, but we may be about 7 years from something like this being possible in that medium.

At any rate SIEWWS and the parteners are making video game porn on traditional flat panels. The Order 1886, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4, and Horizan are all in their own league. Then we already have Days Gone, God of War, Gran Turismo Sport, Spiderman, and The Last Of Us Part II coming to top these. 3D gaming is going out with a bang.

Guerrilla have really out down themselves with Horizon. The visuals are on par with what i expect from Naughty Dog, and they've managed to hit that mark with functionally no sacrifices to either image quality or performance (in-fact both appear to be better than what we normally expected). Best of all, it's a technical heavy-weight while still apparently being a great game with a boat load of content.

Well its GG...... I doubt its graphics or performance was ever what ANYONE questioned. Its GG.

I think the real takeaway from this game was that they also were able to make a great all round game in addition to what they are already very well known for.

I think I'm going to have to invest in a 4k HDR TV before I play this one.

It's indeed a really beautiful game. Can't wait to try it! Zelda and Horizon at the same time is an awesome gaming plan.
