Is that really a good metric? If the United States decides to engage in another full-fledged war, and we get pissed, you're going to support him because of that?

It's the best metric out there. It has been working wonderfully in my country for the past 1.5 year and it will serve you well.

Also, an argument about starting a war is hilarious if you think about the wars Obama started.

Which ones are those?

No offense, but how did people transition from transgender laws to Obama and Chinese people? I don't want to bark orders or commands, but it'd be nice if political topics stopped going off topic so quickly.

Also, while I'm not exactly the most supportive person when it comes to transgender people, I'm hoping this doesn't result in an increase in suicide for them. It's currently at 40% I believe, so things aren't looking good for them as of now.

Obama was involved militarily in 3 countries that Bush wasn't: Yemen, Libya and Syria.

Weren't all 3 of those civil wars though, and therefore not started by Obama?

They're more along the lines of proxy wars than civil wars, as each side gets huge financial backing from another power.

I was going to post a comment on the issue but then i went to the end of the thread and everyone is talking about China. Ive finally lost my mind.

A micro war is still possible. And no, it's not blown out of proportion. China is slowly eating away South East Asia. Militarizing those international shipping routes will do bad for the whole economy.

China is already facing sever debt/inflation problems, a corrupt government and an agin population. If they engage in war they'll have huge financial repercussions. Now, I don't like the Chinese government either, but don't let war rhetoric sway you.

It will happen. Possibly not in Trump's time. China still remains to have a large economy despite all the things you've pointed out.

Well, we managed to stay on track for quite a while actually. I guess Chun-Li reminded him of China or something.

Maybe he sees that "protect the LGBTQ community" question different than you. I don't think that allowing people to use any bathroom is protecting LGBTQ community.

About Caitlyn Jenner, if he really said that, he's a motherfucking liar and you're right to be mad at it. That's just what I'm afraid of Trump's government. That all the "tells it like it is" becomes one "told anything to get votes, now I do what I want to do".

Oh, he said it alright:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/reliable-source/wp/2016/04/21/donald-trump-says-caitlyn-jenner-can-use-whatever-bathroom-she-wants-at-trump-tower/?utm_term=.25ba1e6a49d3

And given those kinds of comments, his public face pre-election and my feelings on the subject were very much in line.  Now...  not so much.

And 3 of them have 1 thing in common, none of them were started by Obama.

He inherited a country in war time and a military industry complex hungry to be fed half of our national budget.
