

Ugh this has been discussed ad nausium since the inception of this site.. Wii had garbage third party support and went on to sell 100 million.. Nintendo doesn't need the same type of third party support Sony and MS need because their first party lineup is stronger.
Nintendo might not have quite as strong support from the western major third parties, but they seem to be getting plenty of support from both Japenese and indie developers. That, along w/ the occasional western AAA game, will be enough

nah, it'll be a success. being a handheld and having nintendo first-party games will keep it from failing.
DS, Wii & 3DS all missed out on the types of games you are talking about and all did well. Ironically, Wii U had far better support of these type of games than the other systems I just listed and did by far the worst.
A combination of Nintendo's unified support and small-medium sized Japanese, indie and kid/family titles with the occasional big Western title will give Switch a steady flow of diverse software. Add to that an appealing concept and strong marketing and you have yourself a system with potential to do very well.
