Nice, still have to start Heavensward. Best FF since FF10.

considering the fact that FFXIV now will have underwater content, I think the world just maybe got as big as Skyrim, and there is still regions left hidden.

It's impossible not to get excited after watching that trailer.

Of course, thats CG, not the game though.

2 new DPS classes though... And nothing for tanks and healers. I'm not really happy about this. A lot of people won't be either when they'll have to wait 2 hours for any dungeon.

Players that don't like playing those roles won't play them no matter how many new healer or tanks they release, so I don't think the queue times will change anyways.

Heavensward kinda proved the opposite though. The most popular job for a long time was Dark Knight, which helped with the waiting time a lot. Sure, we had a lot of noob tanks because of this, but it was better than none. I even didn't want to play one for a while because those DKs were everywhere ^^.

And both healer and tank players had new classes to discover and play. What do we get now? 5 new actions that will be useless 90% of the time, or at best a new rotation? Great... I barely play lately, but as a tank main (and heal second), the fact that the focus is once again put on the DPS isn't encouraging for this expansion. Tanks and healers are already usually the most demanding jobs, it would be nice if they could get a bit of love from the devs.

I'm pretty sure the ratio stayed the same. How many of those new Dark Knights were preexisting tanks trying out a new tank job. what we got now is finally 3 vit, 3 dex, 3 str, 3 int, and 3 mnd jobs to make it even.

Nobuo Uematsu took to the stage, he will be composing the main theme for the Stormblood expansion. (hype)

Here's a new piece of artwork by Akihiko Yoshida: (It looks very FF12'ish)
