Gross. No. With Four Swords and Triforce Heroes, Zelda's been tainted by multiplayer more than it needed to be already.

Yeah, but they already have a massive Zelda world.
A Pokemon MMO...
RIP life.

What would even be the premise of a Zelda MMO? The Mytho's is pretty clear about the Triforce who holds it and who is able to save the land. Hell in Wind Waker shows what happens when the Hero does not show up. Land is purged. Ok yeah Hyrule can be huge but why am I helping and how can I,I don't have the Triforce nor can I wield the Master Sword so what can I do?
I don't mean to sound rude, but do we have to put an online MP in every game nowadays, even if it doesn't make any sense? XD.
That doesn't really sound feasible for Nintendo, not unless they shocked the world and put it on PC, as well, with shared servers. Not sure a device with a small amount of internal memory would work that great, either.

Well Dreamcast had 16MB of Ram with PSO. PS2 32MB of Ram with FFXI. Wii 88MB of Ram DQX. Vita 512 MB of Ram PSO2. Wii U 2GB of ram (1GB usable) DQX HD. We also had MMO's in the 70s as text adentures and 90s as actual games and some 3D. WoW was created on mid level PC specs in 2004.
So Switch with 4GB and let's say 3-3.5 avail to games. Should be fine.

I just want to run around in a large world, playing with the combat and physics after I complete the main quest.
I do not want them to try and justify the game mode, kinda like Wolf Link.

I need to be given a reason. Just doing for the sake of doing isn't enough for most.

I should have said internal storage. That's what I meant. MMOs typically add a lot of content post-launch.
