NINTENDO
I am not seeing Switch being ultra successful in this current form. The lack of any function beyond games is going to do major damage outside of the core Nintendo and hardcore gamer base. As it stands right now, I can't see Switch doing too much better then WiiU.
There is hope however. They have many options that could turn Switch into a massive success. Whether they are willing to go down the road to broader appeal, is yet to be seen.
If Switch stays the way it is now, and future revisions fail to bring basic features, then I think this will be Nintendos last platform.
MICROSOFT
I think Microsoft is in a really good spot with Xbox. They have laid a foundation with Windows 10 to be one of the premier game distributers. Going forward I expect Xbox to become a very locked down Windows 10 PC. I would not be surprised to see it re-branded as a Surface Home, or something along those lines.
I think with Scorpio MS will distance itself from Xbox One, and begin in their new direction. I think we will be seeing new home devices from MS every year, and multiple sku's to reach a larger market.
Microsofts gaming ecosystem is strong. They will continue to have a living room device on offer for as long they exist. In addition to that, all of the games in their ecosystem will work on every device, from Surface Phone to the most decked out PC. I think they will eventually have a uerbase of more than 100 million people in the livingroom space.
SONY
I see nothing but more and more success going forward for PlayStation. They are going to continue to expand the offering of hardare, software, and services. I can not imagine them loosing their grip for a long time, unless they really drop the ball.
I think PS4 will continue to rack up major sales for the next few years, and go on to be Sonys most successful PlayStation ever. It is hard to say whether they will do PS5 in 2020, or if we will see another PS4 revision. It is also impossible to say what they will do with PSVR. They are in a really good spot to do whatever they want, as long as they keep the core gaming community in mind.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
