what server should i start in???

I have a few level 70's... I play it a bit.

It's a good game. The thing that you have to remember though, is all you are doing is updating a database. The characters don't exist. One day, you will walk away from it, and EVERYTHING you have done in the game stays in the game. You can't take it with you, or get that time back.

Think of it as pure recreation, and not something to obsess over, and you will have a great time :)

I see people playing it on their laptops all the time. Yours should be fine.

As for servers, it's nice to start in one with a lower population since they're usually newer than the others. I can't really name any off the top of my head that are supposed to be good, but I think Blizzard has a recommended server when you make your character.

Please do not buy this game! im tab'd out of it right now and thinking i really should stop and get some sleep for work, but ill probly end up running a heroic and getting 2-3 hrs of sleep again tonight : /

You should play it on a Mac, no need to tab out. Just move a mouse to a corner, and pick a browser window. When the browser comes to focus, the game sits in the back (like an animated background). I often bring in the quest log, and then look up quests with the browser. That way I can see all the quests I have at the moment.

 Or save money and play in windowed mode.
