the only way to get wow is to trade in your life

Hey at least those addicted WoW players enjoy their life :) at least i think they do. Personaly i prefered lineage2 for mmo, its a lot more hardcore i find.

I lost like an year of my life to this thing. I would just stay the whole morning on the pc, take a brief rest and raid until 5 am, just to wake up early next day to play... Those were sad times, my grades fell and i wouldn't hang out my friends and wasted time with this game instead.

Oh but it was lots of fun... Just read my advice and the advices of the people above and be careful.

Don't listen to these heathens. When most people have time to waste they sit around and watch tv all day. Nobody says "Don't buy a television! It'll suck your life away!!" If you ask me you're being a lot more active and social playing an MMO with thousands of other people than sitting on the couch. Or even playing most console games for that matter. Not everyone becomes a college drop out, and the ones who do likely have bigger issues to deal with than WoW.

That being said, I'm tabbed out of WoW right now and need to get back to leveling my paladin. :|

WoW is horrible. The people who posted on this thread have summed it up. DO NOT PLAY IT. You've been warned. I play Final Fantasy XI, but I don't play it hardcore like people play WoW. I find it more entertaining than some shitty cartoon fantasy game. FFXI is more realistic and more of a 'fantasy.' WoW is more like a drug, in which your mind just fucks up and you start speaking gibberish to your friends, and trust me, your brain WILL die.

I started to play it, and for some amazing reason it didn't grab me at all. I had fun the first day, sort of fun the second day, and I think only played it one more time before my free trial ran out.

Hearing how addictive its been to other people, I feel lucky. It just wasn't my thing at all.

 You are lucky indeed. I had trouble getting out of the game the first day i played it, not much at first, but things just went downhill from there...

i played 10 day trail i found it boring, try the trial before u buy it trust me
