I've just bought the game from the local GAME (The guy they said I was the first person to buy it in that particular branch!), and am wondering about the difficulty of this game.

I figured out that I don't suck at this game as much as I thought I do, but the Wii Remote and Nunchuck swinging is disrupting my dance sequences. So, with the motion controls in place, how much harder is this game (preferably in terms of "footers"), and how does it compare to "In the Groove"?

How long has DDR been out in Europe? There's still no data for it in Others, and I'm thinking it could hit a million by the end of the year, if some more numbers are added.

I personally didnt like the hand motions, so I turned them off. They do make it harder, though I guess if you used them long enough you'd get use to them.

The hand motions require a bit of a snap to them, they grow easier as you get used to them. If you go into options from the song menu you can turn then off if they distract you. Each song has a different sequence if you do it minus the hand movements.

Overall Hottest Party is a great entry in the DDR series.

As far as I know, it greatly increases the difficulty, until you take time to get used to the controls.

The game was out on March 28 in Europe, under the name "Dancing Stage", as many of the previous DDR titles.

For me, I'll try my best to use the hand controls as much as possible (since this is what distinguishes it from the rest of the dancing titles!).
