Since the GameGenie and GameShark days, there have always being cheat devices. What's the problem with this one, outside of the achievements?

I think you're putting far too much emphasis on this, you really think that if even 100k people cheated trophies it'd make a blind bit of difference?

Fucking gross. I wish Sony would start perma-banning accounts that hack trophies. I lova the PS, but MS has always been great at policing achievements, and ban-hammering those that get caught without mercy. I think they have to be reported to MS, but whatever. PSN has had trophy cheats skittering around like cockroaches since the PS3 was jailbroken, and although it's less common, there are Vita trophy cheaters too. I like some integrity in my metagames. Whoever buys this should be chemically castrated.

That would be one of the stupidest and more ridiculous PR ever, same level as "We have the X360 for people without internet".

They didn't do it in the last 15 years these things existed, I have no idea why you think they would start now. 

It's not the practical terms that make this a good marketing strategy, it's idea that you can't trust Trophy. THE IDEA <- big letters to emphasise that point.
