I think you're putting far too much emphasis on this, you really think that if even 100k people cheated trophies it'd make a blind bit of difference?

It's not the practical terms that make this a good marketing strategy, it's idea that you can't trust Trophy. THE IDEA <- big letters to emphasise that point.
