And what might we expect to see in them? 

 

More on games like Xenoblade and that Shin Megami game?

 

Talk about the system in a manner that's more a fan thing than a sales thing?

 

Reveal a few Wii U ports and third party titles? 

 

Reveal more 2018 games as teasers?

 

Etc etc



The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

I personally think it's a bit soon, since it's too close to the presentation, but I think a small amount after the Switch launches is a good sign, to show new Switch owners what's coming up further along and/or tease upcoming releases!

I would say the next one could be a special ARMS Direct. Because that releases before E3. And it would help to get its own spotlight.

Yes !

-New Xenoblade 2 trailer and details on wether it'll come out this year or not (not specific date, perhaps just a Quarter announcement since you want to have that release date announcement at E3);

-Smash 4 porting WITH Iceclimbers (no Inklings or Spring Man since they'll be added in Smash 5 eventually);

-Announcement of one of Retro's games if they are working on multiple titles;

-Release date announcement for ARMS with more characters/modes beeing shown;

-Same as I said for ARMS but applied to Splatoon 2;

-Virtual Console and paid Online details

-Yooka Laylee release date (and presence/absence of a physical version) and Amiibo announcement;

-Rabbids x Mario RPG announcement (BG&E2 is considered bigger and will be hold off until E3).

I think there will be one in March-April, after the Switch is released, but I doubt it will be in February

I want to know about the VC and if I have to buy them again. And more about the OS. Maybe some stuff about the online service. So a direct before March. Then, a direct for all games releasing before E3 (and maybe a few more, like Spla2n or FE Musou).



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Arms is likely an end of May game, so there's plenty of time to get other directs in before that one. We still need a Switch Direct.
