It was crazy for Nintendo to fit the Gamepad with a 4k screen and install a octacore cpu on the gamepad motherboard what they should have done is fit one of those low resolution 800x480 lcd screens that you see in low cost digital photo frames that just cost a few dollars and a simple single core low performance arm chip just for processing the wireless connection. Then they could have made the gamepad for only $5-10 dollars more than a standard wireless joypad. It's surprising in this instance that Nintendo used such high spec components in the gamepad that cost them such a huge amount of money.
