This rumors are stupid i mean come on The Pro came out like 3 months ago and people already speculate PS5.

And it's not a Rumor that is a fact Ps5 will be compatible with PS1/Ps2/Ps3/Ps4 and lul Ryzen.
Ryzen will be like Jaguar when ps5 drops maybe about 2021/2022.

You expect ps5 that late? I'm currently expecting it Holiday 2019, but 2020 is possible. 2022? there's no chance it'll take that long.

Also it's hard to say if the PS5 will be compatible with ps1 titles.... I mean the ps4 still isn't for no apparent reason... after three years.

Jesus, people. This is about the timing. We've just had a big push for the Scorpio with a dev posting on GAF about it being a next gen console and the Pro being 'half-assed'. It should be common sense by now that it'll be backwards compatible.

If there were multiple articles and videos about this from different people, evidence of some actual leak of information then maybe I'd agree. But do I think one youtuber I've never heard of making a video about the PS5 is a response by Sony to the Ori dev talking about Scorpio? No.

If within Scoprio launch month Eurogamer suddenly got "leaked" specs for the PS5 then I'd say there might be something to it.

I'm in no big hurry for it. I think it's too early to speculate. When Sony has something, they'll let us know. Enjoy games for now. :)

Well imo it really should be compatibile(and i think it will be) with all those systems because hell at launch they are gonna need games and Sony always lags it's first two three years by not releasing a lot of games but then the big hitters come.

And yup it will be compatible for sure with ps1 and if they are smart make all the games backward compat,and make those older games available to purchase for those who don't own them (Digitaly) and make them available on that streaming service so you can make money off that too.

It would a wise bussines decision but hell what do i know  what they are thinking.

And yup 2021 because they said they want to make the gen last much longer.

It will be. SONY's ultimate goal now is keeping PSN+ users playing on PS boxes and paying up that sweet sweet annual fee.

What better way to do so than telling them "your huge libraries will be yours to keep if you stay with us!"
