I wish i could use the wii mote on the ps3.... they both use Blue Tooth technology, you'd think it'd be easy to do.

....not that it will solve all of the problems the craptacular sixaxis has though.
Hopefully there will no longer be any signal drops for the early adopters (20/60gb units), as well as a longer lifespan for the controller (mine has started to exhibit strange behaviors in the 'home' menu - not responding to any commands).
However, the dualshock 3 probably won't fix the fact that Sony has the least accurate analog sticks (except for maybe the nunchuck...but at least we have the wiimote as a pointer there) and that the overall design of the controller should have been re-hauled years ago (this is, what, a 13 year old design? I want the boomerang!)
I'll still have to get one though, since my sixaxis is dying. I don't care about rumble though; I always turn it off first thing when I buy a game/console.

There is if you are constantly looking for things to complain about. *cough* I happen to like the non-rumble SIXAXIS.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.

Yeah, the DS3 sixaxis controller will still have sixaxis because i bought one from ebay about a mth. and half ago. There still is sixaxis because its written on the new controller. Anyway, if you're playing a game push and hold the PS button and you turn off the rumble functionality under controller settings so you can have the best of both worlds. Did i mention there still is sixaxis functionality in the new ps3 controller? I'll holla!!!!!

You can't be serious...you want the boomerang? I hated just looking at that thing...I don't think the dualshock needs a re-haul...I like the analog design.
