First one's the best of them, but make sure to play 2 as well. Has the best gameplay of the 3.

I already bought 2 as well. I hear it is more of the black sheep of the three. Is that true at all?

Absolutely love the first game. A masterpiece through and through IMHO.

I played infinite when it was free on ps plus. Got 1&2 for $5 each on sale. Played them a few months ago. Love all 3!

Goddamn did it! Was a pain in the ass, but it was totally worth the 100 extra gamerscore. XD

I think it gets bashed more then it deserved ,most  of it comes from rapture itself  being such a star of the first game, it a hard act to follow and how do you counter that been there before feeling and not having that sense of discovery you had with bioshock and it's unique setting and characters, this is exacerbated by the first couple of hours being slow but to me it picks up and becomes despite those aformentioned hurdles a very good follow up, to one of my favourite games.

PS. I highly recommend the dlc Minerva's den.

Personally, I like it almost as much as the first game. It honestly varies from person to person. Best gameplay, but environments aren't quite as good as the first game, and neither is the story, though I still really liked both of those aspects of it.

I find a lot of times, those who really like Inifnite don't end up liking 2, and people who really like 2 don't end up liking Infinite, like me. But just play for yourself and see how you like it. It's definitely not as bad as some people make it out to be.
