Forums - Gaming - JeuxVideo Exclusive interview with Aonuma

http://www.jeuxvideo.com/videos/chroniques/599335/zelda-breath-of-the-wild-eiji-aonuma-producteur-du-jeu-repond-a-nos-questions.htm

Highlights:

- While the unique gamepad features were still being developed pre - Switch version plans, the gamepad could talk to the player, he was eager to try it out but it became weirder as time went on

- Port to the Switch went much faster than expected

- He and his team are far from mastering the full power of the Switch

- DLC after release is a possibility

- They started development with Wind Waker assets as a basis for the final artstyle

- He played games like GTA, Witcher 3 and Skyrim and suggested concepts and ideas inspired by those titles, but the team he calls more serious than him always responded with the statement they need something more original or better and emphasizes that implementing the Zelda "touch" is very important across all games

Excellent news. Going to see what kind of DLC they make, hopefully new dungeons. And not surprised at the TWW tidbit.

Yeah, heard about it, was a bit dissapointing but someone at the hands on event said that there was some sort of rumble when pulling the bow IIRC, perhaps we'll have some sort of rumble but not quite full on HD Rumble. If true they probably didn't want to advertise it as such because people would be dissapointed in it and complain about the poor implementation.

The Witcher 3 managed to release content that could stand as its own game. I hope BotW has high quality DLC too.

If there is DLC, I hope it's actually just additional DLC..
