Forums - Nintendo - The Great Ace Attorney 2 confirmed for 3DS, ’15th Anniversary Special Courtroom’ trailer

That´s great.... but please port it to the west!

I still hope they will do it.... some games, like Yokai Watch and Puzzles and Dragons, took a long time to be localized but they came when nobody expected! I hope that´s the case with The Great Ace Attorney too.

Why don't they make it a dual release with the Switch? The 3DS is kinda hogging a lot of great 3rd party games that would help the Switch a lot, even if they were also released on the 3DS. (Monster Hunter Generations upgrade, the new Harvest Moon, Fire Emblem Echoes, Lady Layton, The Great Ace Attorney...).

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

Please give me the great Ace Attorney 1 first?

(I'd even take a nice 1+2 switch port a la dragon quest heroes...)

I dont like all these spinoff, they are not great at all. The only good spinoff was the Ace Attorney Investigations 2.
In fact, only Ace Attorney 1,2,3 plus Ace Attorney Investigations 2 were good.
The rest are not so much.

Eh? It's the exact same thing as the main series but with different characters.

Well if that is your arguement, then pretty much all the games in the same franchise are the same.

Ace Attorney 1,2,3 apparently had the best level design, gameplay design, character building and storyline.

I was disappointed in Ace Attorney Investigations 1, it was kinda boring, but Ace Attorney Investigations 2 really suprised me with its better in everything, at the same level of Ace Attorney 1,2,3

Sounds good, but most likely won't make a Western release if the original still hasn't :/

This makes complete sense to be in 3DS.Bigger install base, the game being more niche than other titles, and the audience being already there. What i hope is that in the future there is a Ace Attorney collection(of the most recent games, plus the ones that never left Japan) for the Switch. That would be great

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

They are all the same. They are visual novels based around court cases.

They may change the voting system or put a new funny mini game in there but the games are always about investigating murder scenes, questioning witnesses and presenting evidence in court. All of them.

What you are saying is "everything" is just the plot.

Now, sure you may not be as infactuated with certain characters more than others. Perfectly normal. But that is a different thing as we are talking about narritive and character development.

I thought the great ace attourney wasnt as good as the main series, but it was enjoyable.
