I prefer the European cover art. It's brighter and more colorful, I think. However, the American version does give a grander scale image for a grand scale game, so I can see where you are coming from.

You should say that to Alkibiades. I simply provided the image you asked him.  But I also think the North American cover art is more evocative and an overall better art piece.

That's fine. I can appreciate your perspective.

Gaming Industry more drama than the kardashians and always suffering a constant menstruation whining about this, or whining about that.

I am guilty of complaining as I said, but this is too extreme, I think. It's not like they covered Link's body or anything major. The title is smaller and not much else. As I said above, I actually like how the logo blends in better with the color, however I would not go out of my way to get another version.

It's ok to complain, but most of the time is silly stuff like this "article"

Agreed, Ms. Onionberry.

Welp, if someone doesn't like something, complaining is the way to get attention even if it doesn't work most of the time

The ridiculous part is the German rating board, not the people complaining about that hideous box art. In fact, I'm thinking of importing an American copy because the European cover art is already ugly by itself.

Would you mind posting the American version, so I can give my opinion?

I take it the minimum package size for stuff rated by USK is the size of the logo then?

Anyway, that logo just kills the cover.

I actually prefer the color blending in better than the UK logo, but either way, I wouldn't go out of my way to get another version. It's like "I would have enjoyed that 80 hour epic adventure... if not for that eyesore case I kept seeing in the corner of my eye!"

I don't have much of an opinion on the colours myself. I think I prefer the PEGI one, but it's not the colours that annoy me - it's the humongous size. And if I was German, I'd probably get some other version just to not get German localization. :P

I like the US version the best but, yeah, I'd buy whichever copy is the cheapest/most convenient.  All I'm going to see is the spine when it's on my shelf, anyway.

Well Germany at least you can rest easy, knowing that THIS isn't your stupidest decision ever made.

A close second just behind electing Hitler in power though. ;)
