Forums - Sony - Resident Evil 7 PSVR is 'a step above TV experience'

Finally, the first worthwile VR game. Everything up to this point was crap that should be free tech-demos, not games. I'm getting a Vega card this holiday and will look into these VR headsets next. Hopefully other games will join RE7 by then.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

We knew straight away that something felt off about it when you experience movement in VR, even when it felt fine on the screen. I think it’s a great way of controlling it. Just looking at what you want to aim at is such a direct way of inputting.”

Wait - so it feels off when you move in VR....and that's somehow a good thing now?

With a sencente like that I expect an:'but we found a way to resolve the issues' to follow not what amounts to:'Eh, we left it in. Motion sickness is a feature now.'

Maybe I'm reading this wrong?

That is definitely how it reads. But, I assume that is not what he meant.

after playing it in VR, have to say that a "step" was heavily understated.
When you played it in vr you feel soo sad for all the people played it on a tv.
