 Barring the negative backlash from a price increase I think the Wii would continue to sell out in the US if the console were priced at $299.  Obviously there is no way to know since the only way to find out is for them to up the price which wouldhave an accompanying backlash.

PS3 would gain the most if the prices were put the way you said.

I mean you gave the Wii a 50 dollar drop and PS3 a 100 dollar drop, so of course it will help the PS3 the most.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
