lol, thanks for making me feel old...

I remember hearing in 1995 in gamepro or EGM that Atari may get sega games...but I never knew this was the sum that was exchanged.

Back then, Sega could have used that money instead to refund the 32X for everyone that bought it.

All 100 of us who bought it?

I totally don't remember a lot of stuff from back then. I'd have to check out my old gaming mags to see what was going on, hehe.

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

1994 was the beginning of the end for Sega in regards to the video game market. Sega committed suicide in the console market with three massive failures: 32X add on for Genesis, Saturn and finally the Dream Cast.

That's going back, I remember nothing of that deal sorry, but I thought I would post because it is actually quite intriguing, I will look for some info and post back.

Lol I was 10 years old back in 94. Though I gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed my Sega Megadrive(Genesis). Thankfully I was blissfully ignorant of the console wars back then :)

Yeah, those were good times. I was 12-13 and I thought Mortal Kombat 2 was the best game ever... Thats is the year I came to Canada from Europe...bringing my Mega Drive only to find out I can't play "Genesis" games on a Mega Drive. Couldn't even plug it in...

That's cool. I came to Australia from Europe in 93. I got my megadrive in 94 and I loved playing Sonic 3, Bubsy and nba jam. Btw which part of Europe did you come from. It's really good to have lived on two continents :)

Serbia...Well Hungary actually but i came to Hungary 4 years  before from Serbia.

All I ever wanted as a kid was a Sega CD but couldn't afford one...then when we got to Canada I was told Sega CD wasn't cool but that I should buy something called Super Nintendo... I bought Sega CD anyways :)
