I played the first games Disgaea on PS2, and 3,4 on the Vita.

Im one of those weirdo's that like these games, so yes Id recammend it.

And for only like 10 euro its worth a buy (even if you just want to do a one time playthrough and only focus on the storyline).

 

"item world" makes these games have sooooo much gameplay time in them.

HI!

Yes. I've Disgaea 1 (DS and PS3), DIsgaea 2 (PSp), Disgaea 3(Vita and ps3),  Disgaea 4(Vita, and ps3), AND disgaea 5(ps4). Plus all their spin offs.

It is a really fun game.

You can basically break it into three sections.

1) The game. You can beat the game without grinding, doing item world, or really anything.

2) The after game. This requires some grinding. You aren't aiming for 9999 with 9999 stats, but you do need to grind some to get to the levels needed for this

3) Everything else. We are talking Baal. This requires hours of grinding item worlds, character worlds, upgrading items etc.

Alright then, I'll seriously consider getting this then. One question though, I have played Disgaea 2 and ended up not really liking it story wise, so how does 5 compare to 2 with story?

Was always been curious about the series. Was looking to buy it on PS4, but I'll probably end up getting it on Switch due to the portable mode.

I thought 2 was the worst story.  Demons in the human world just isn't that interesting.  Disgaea 5 has a pretty good story. One of the characters is annoying - but I enjoyed it much more than 2.

That's good to know. I'm glad it's not just me that thought the story was bad. Okay then, I'm in.
