I wonder if the differences in the wiiu/switch videos are because of consoles or they just got further in development

Looks great on either one really

You know what to do, pick Switch version.

I'll be playing it on my projector. I hope they still made a good effort with the surround sound for a full dynamic range home theater experience.

I couldn't open it running Window.
Switched and I'm able to watch it on Chrome. Loved making the Switch! Woohoo!

Good point, will be interesting to see if this difference is also there in the released versions. A small difference anyway, basically improvements in distant objects.

Man it looks awesome, so excited for this.

Granted we don't know what development version this is, some optimization and whatnot could have been done or still in process of being done for release. But ehh those frame-rate drops are pretty concerning still. And when it happens in just tall grass even it helps feed the narrative that the world is so empty looking because the hardware simply cannot handle more. These videos I think have hurt my outlook on the game more than helped.

And that is before we even get to the form factor which I will try to reserve judgment until I get a hands-on as the experience will like vary on hand size and peoples use to portable devices, but first impressions is it does not look comfortable for long-term use. Lots of "crab-arming" going on especially with the right joystick being in a very unnatural position.

To the guy that said there wasn't any impressive graphics presented for the Switch... That's some pretty neat stuff, for a handheld system...

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

I probably will do a mix of both and honestly maybe will end up more on the couch, however I voted handheld simply because its going to be hard not to want to go out and sit in a park and rock some Zelda on a handheld with how good this is looking

by far the best graphics and smoothness I've seen at that caliber on a handheld. By a landslide. Pretty crazy to think that the Switch being used handheld will look probably considerably better for some games than the Wii U did. its about time some advancements for handhelds were exciting (although the PS Vita was in a good direction spec wise)

I'll be playing like that soon 🐱
