They can always patch it too

No they cant, this needs to be able to run perfectly off of the cartridge (they are supposedly all non writeable ones).

With 32GB disk space, relying on patches for games just isnt viable.

Of course they can patch it the same way as Wii-U and 3DS games are patched today. And patches do not need to be large, unless you change multimedia files like textures.

Question, what's the point of 32GB storage? In the long run you will need way more storage, and buy a SD card. Better off including no storage and shaving off the RRP.

Indie games.... they might only be a few gb in size, and you ll download those there. Digital buys.

Save files will go there as well, along with any screenshots ect you take (it has a share feature).

That 32GB flash storage is probably dirt cheap. Like... much much cheaper than the 500gb hdd that sony/xb1 include.

If you want to complain about useless expenses, its probably that IR sensor, and the HD rumble stuff.

Honestly dont see why its 299$ either.... Nintendo has to be makeing great profit on each sale.

Oh, just read BOTW takes 13.4GB digitally. Courtesy of GS

Nintendo and optimization don't get along.

Not the final build. Just a demo created a while ago for this event. Come back at launch and confirm if any of this is true.
