Forums - Gaming - Four players on one switch?

Is this possible? Based on everything I've read the only way to have two player local co-op is with sharing the joycons. Every time they mentioned more than two players, more switches got invovled. Is it possible to have 3 or 4 players playing on one Switch? Can the Switch synch with more than one set of Joy Cons? Can two joy cons and one pro controller connect to one switch simultaneously?

Not sure, but I assume there should be up to 4 player local play with one system.. at least on the docked mode

You ll just need 2 more joy-con's.... was that 80$?

So for 299$+80$(+2 joy-con) +60$(game) you can have 4player together in 1 game, if the game supports it.

440$ total.

You could buy a PS4pro bundled with a game for cheaper though.

You could, but that's neither here nor there. I was leginately wondering if the system could be paired with more than 2 Joycons. It appears it can. Thanks everyone!

But if you want to play with four player on a ps4, youd have to buy extra 3 60$ controllers. If online(most games are not multi local based), youd need extra 3 PS4 systems...
So switch still cheaper for the local multiplayer experience.

Speaking of coop, I'd love to see how a new Mario Party Switch will work.
