The joycons are meant for improvised multiplayer on the go. Bringing more plastic stuff would defeat the purpose of easy portability. Also, if you had to use these grips, why don't you just get a pro?

I imagine they prey on the uninformed gamers buying gifts for kids with these things. Makes me think of getting gaming gifts growing up. Nothing woudl annoy me more than getting some knock off brand controller or som accessory that I didn't want.

local co op with half a controller, doesnt appeal to me.

I ll probably get the procontroller instead.

Not sure how you would reach the Joy con buttons if the grips are made like that

I would probably not need this and leave the Joy cons attached and play it like the Wii U gamepad or PSP
