I first tipped OBE1 off about Metroid (he lost his shit, it was cute), so I'll be curious if he has dug up any new info.

I think the big news here is: Metroid is being developed! Well, according to LKD and Liam, of course. That alone makes me happy. I feared they could pull a Kid Icarus on us (20 years wait).

I'd love to know who these people's alleged "sources" are. All this guy does is make clickbait videos.

As for Metroid itself? I would LOVE a fully 2D Metroid, a sequel to Metroid III (Super). They can even forget about the silly story/conclusion to Fusion if they'd like. With actual 2D graphics, not this "2.5D" shit.

But I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I'd love if they somehow were able to pull another Prime/Fusion combo where they release a 2D and 3D game side by side again. 2002 was a great time to be a Metroid fan.
