im very excited for Horizon and Mass Effect. i will be getting Horizon and For Honor in Feb, then waiting a bit for Mass Effect to drop in price to get it later.

Hold on For Honor, it would be wiser, even more as an Ubisoft game.

ill judge after the Beta. my purchase hinges on that a lot. also i want to know their microtransaction policies and such. i will get it around launch time, but not day one.

Around the Network

Persona 5

Persona 5 would be first priority if I could only buy one.

This, but in my case i cant wait for price drop for mass effect xD, i will play Horizon then the moment i finish it its mass effect time .

the only reason i am waiting for a price drop on Mass Effect is because i will make it the game i play during ramadan. during fasting i like to have a nice distraction and something i can sink my time into and play for hours, and ME fits that bill perfectly. i also doubt i will finish Horizon by the time ME comes out, because i dont play much and my time will be distrubited between For Honor and Horizon. If Mass Effect was coming out before Horizon, i would have most likely picked it up and waited for a Horizon price drop.

also another reason why i want to get For Honor at the time of launch is this (this is from a eurogamer article)

Future updates will also be tied into the game's overarching 'Faction War'. The idea here is that after selecting a faction when you first start the game, every action you take will then influence the success or failure of your chosen group. This is represented on a world map shared by every player (cross-platform too!) and as the weeks progress, the frontlines of each faction will shift as a result. The multiplayer maps themselves are located on this map and as they transition from one owner to another, they'll look different when you play them. A Viking stronghold could switch hands to the Samurai, for example, presumably meaning its furs and pelts switch out for... nice artwork and things made out of jade? This is only cosmetic, but a nice touch, I thought.

i know it seems silly, but i just love that idea. it makes engaging with the game outside of matches interesting as well. and it does at to that sense of war that for honor is all about. im most likely going to pick Vikings, because they are awesome manly men with epic beards.
