Its all in Japanese, but from what I can tell it seems that we are givin a huge Biestary of unknown species and our job is to birth them by using mini biomes to create the conditions and circumstances by manipulating elevation and temperature, then capture them.
15 minute long video but just watching 5 or so minutes gives a good idea.
I'm all about a 3D SimEarth from Yasuhiro Wada.
Can't really tell if this would be fun to play though, but it does seem interesting

Kinda how I feel as well. I like the concept, but it alone is not enough to carry a whole game. I cant imagine it wouldn't have other objectives...
"Gotta Birth 'em All" sounds like a gold trophy, not the sole objective of a game.
